Dive into a dynamic experience with WebSocket Player, a web app that leverages the power of web sockets via the Socket.io library to visualize real-time movements of multiple remote users.

This web app employs WebRTC for real-time audio and video communication, establishing peer-to-peer connections within “chat-rooms”. Users generate unique room links, where Socket.io facilitates WebSockets events to a signaling server. This server orchestrates SDP negotiations, ICE candidate exchanges (Trickle ICE), and deploys publicly accessible STUN servers alongside a custom TURN server configured on a Digital Ocean droplet.

- Contributed significantly to the development of the login and sign up frontend using React Native, resulting in a 67% increase in conversion rate.
- Led the successful redesign of graphical user interfaces to improve user experience during login and sign up.
- Designed and tested the database schema for Podcast and Video features.
- Developed comments backend and implemented a script for the comments API, handling comment posts and replies to enhance user engagement.

WBRS is a student-run community and college radio station in Waltham, Massachusetts. The broadcast license is held by the Trustees of Brandeis University and transmitter are located on the Brandeis campus.
- Provided technical support for the station's website, updating content and trouble shooting crashes in both the website and radio stream.
- Streamlined the station's password management process by assisting with the onboarding of executive board members to Passbolt, an open-source password manager.
